Upon starting this game development journey there were multiple game development companies that I admired while growing up. Many of these companies set the tone for my interest in video games as an artform from displaying each companies different styles, different character designs and unique storylines. It got to a point where as soon as I started a game I looked forward to viewing their eye-popping (ie. Neversoft) promo screens involving; the company name + logo (rotating or standstill), great color schemes, or simply just a creative animation involving a reference to the game’s gameplay. Even select movies contributed to my fascination with the intricacies of a game’s creation processes. Below are some of my Game Development Inspirations:
